Tuesday 15th August

We tried to “love the bumpy road” and feel comfortable “slipping in the sand” but we were overjoyed to see the bitumen road as we approached Broome. A quick tour of the shops, and crossed off at least 7 things on “Cathy’s List of Things to Do in Civilisation”. It was kebabs for lunch before checking into the Courthouse B&B for a few days of luxury. We returned to a favorite haunt “Matso’s” for dinner.
