Tuesday 3rd January

The heatwave was in full swing. David got up early and rode Mt Buffalo before the sun kicked in. Cathy did her normal morning run then basked in the morning sun in the hammock on the balcony. We spent the afternoon dragging our feet in the Ovens river attempting to keep cool, whilst other folk drifted by on lilos. Darryl and Vickie taught Ebony to throw stones in the river whilst David was fascinated by the ducks.
