Off to find the highest peak in Australia

Rugged up in all the layers we could find, we ventured out into the bright sunshine. The wind had dropped so it was actually a delightful day to ride up to the summit on the chairlift. From there, we walked up uphill to the Kosciuszko lookout. It's not as impressive as you expect when seen in the distance. We'd carefully stepped over 2 patches of snow and didn't think we needed to walk all the way to the summit, so we turned back and watched a paraskier practice his turns.

After an afternoon nap, we sat in the late afternoon sun for Happy Hour at Knickerbocker restaurant, where we later dined on delicious food prepared by Jean-Michel. We love holidays!
