We travelled over dirt, sand, corrugations, washouts, gravel, bitumen – mainly forwards but sometimes sideways and backwards!! We became well acquainted with the Rabbit Flat Roadhouse and met plenty of fellow travellers whilst waiting for Gina and the Lajamanu mob before moving to our campsite at Renehan’s Bore. Gina, and the Walparri women traveling with her, came along a little later for an enjoyable afternoon tea.
