Wednesday 4th January

At last, relief from the heat as thunderstorms moved through in the morning. We watched the rain falling from the veranda at Smoko Shed - with coffee and cake. Once the rain cleared, we got on our bikes for a 76km return trip to Gapsted winery. The Gourmet Platter was huge and delicious.

By the time we got back to the ice cream shop in Bright, David was ready for a choc vanilla smoothie whilst Cathy just wanted cold wet water.
