Day 1 Melbourne to Broome

 Melbourne to Mildura.  

We managed to leave our prepared food in the Freezer.  Not a good start.  Plus, it was wet until we got past Bendigo.  We stopped at Sea Lake to buy the paper and admire the local mural.

Then just a couple of k's to Lake Tyrell for lunch.  Very cold with 25km/h winds, gusting to 43km/h.  I think Cathy almost got frostbite!!

A quick stop at Ouyen for a coffee...

We met up with Dave and Jacqx in Mildura for a fantastic Asian meal, followed by cocktails and ice cream.  So much for a diet!!!
