Sandstorms then rain. Just a few drops overnight but as we got closer to Alice we needed our windscreen wipers!! The temperature plummeted – well into single figures – even our “winter wollies” could not keep us warm.

Brrrrrr! The temperature has been 18degrees today in Melbourne, and should be 20 tomorrow.
