Off to Acapulco - Thursday 8th October
A very early start especially as we have been sleeping until 10am. We got off to a flying start in the Jetta Express then hit the Mexico City traffic. The volume of traffic and the close negotiation for space have to be experienced to be believed. And, if it stops a chorus of horns begins.
Like any beach holiday, we arrived in the rain but when we checked into the Mayan Palace our smiles could not be contained. There was even a nightime show of lightning to entertain David.
Romi is delighted with the pools and beach.
While Cathy and Sandy were happy to sip on margaritas.

Looks fantastic! did Phil get the GPS working with Mexican maps? So brave to negotiate Mex City. Hope that this is another part of a very enjoyable holiday. Take care and keep safe. Keep the blog going. Your house looks great - John is doing a great job keeping you in the loop. Love MM
