Saturday 18th July 2026 - Milan

We got up early, jumped on the Metro to visit an historic bit of Milan.

We were too early for almost everything. The botanic gardens, museums, etc did not open until 10am. 

How much for everything??

Sabine found an art shop with the most huge range of quality pencils.  She somehow managed to limit herself to six pencils, a notebook and a travel paintbrush.  She treated us to a collection of her art during the rest of our trip.

We had a couple of coffee's at a highly rated local roastery, Cafezal.  Well worth a walk out of the way. 

Dinner again at "Nice Cafe" before going across to the train station to puchase tickets for tomorrow.  Just too late.  Come back tomorrow.  Oh yeah, the train line is out of service for Summer infrastructure work.  Apparently, diversions are in place!!
