Big drive and big walks today. After a later departure than usual, we headed to Kings Canyon where we did the canyon rim walk. It began with a steep ascent that woke our legs up but gave great views. We had been told not to miss the Kathleen Springs walk which we did in the late afternoon. It was less spectacular but pretty with lots of wildflowers about. We checked in to the Kings Creek Station where David had a great night with the Contiki tour girls.
