Tuesday 11th June - All at sea in a very big boat.

The morning lecture series began with a quiz at 8am and continued unabated until after 11am.  Lunch and a snooze were required before the next lectures began at 3pm.  A learned review of the health benefits of drinking wine was followed by a wine tasting session.  Our sommelier, Jan, lead us through how to taste and experience different wines before it was back to hard work.  David’s lecture on “Hearing aids and selective hearing” was well received (especially by the wives!).  It was a formal night for dinner and we had to sneak the men in who didn’t have a jacket or tie.  Some people were dressed to the nines and posing for the photographers.   All part of the cruising scene I believe.
