Visiting the Royal Hospital for Children - Glasgow Monday 8th April

David helped by setting up a visit to RHC in Glasgow so I could see their new children's hospital which opened in about 2015. It was fascinating to discuss our common issues, relationsips with other specialities and the design of our wards and observation charts.

They had a colourful fresh exterior and entry atrium. I really liked the activities in the waiting areas designed by the Glasgow Science Centre.

They have self check-in for patient arriving for clinic which we only talk about at Monash. However, I left with a renewed appreciation of just how special, functional and amazing our new Monash Children's Hospital really is.

I hope to maintain the connection with the paediatricians I met today for our mutual benefit. Thanks to Lesley, Owen and Siobhan.
