Easter Sunday

It's amazing to notice the change in the Autumn colours in just over a month.

The streets are ablaze with autumn colour!!

Easter 2011

We got away mid-afternoon on Thursday. Cathy took advantage of her "mobile office" to catch up on emails and make her phone calls.

Good Friday was declared a "non flying" day due to the weather. That was bad.

However, Cathy managed to do some wine tasting at Gapsted windery (very good) and we had a delightful afternoon tea with a surprise visitor - John Erlich was passing through!!

Saturday was a special paragliding day - a large group of Paragliders from Skyhigh Paragliding Club turned up fro Easter and the weather provided plenty of lift (considering it is late April).

David was fortunate in having his designated driver to take him back up the hill *and* provide a very welcome coffee!!! A club dinner at the local Thai was spicy and delicious.

What's been happening in April?

After our holidays in March, we haven't had many photos or news to blog. It was Graeme's birthday on April 16th and we enjoyed a picnic in the sun at Ruffeys park with many of the grandchildren. Angus was showing us how he can fly.



When we got home, we got into the garden with our new lawn mower - a reconditioned Scott Bonner cylinder mower. This replaces the old push mower leaving David more time to do things off his list of "Things Cathy wants me to do"!!!
